  25. Well, this kind of goes for ANY CPU Card with an 020 or better... they 
  26. can all use 32-bit AUTOCONFIG memory addresses for their expansion RAM.

  28. As for why someboards have to use funny 'addmem' command and such is 
  29. just a guess - they might not have a compatable hardware design that 
  30. works with AUTOCONFIG (cheaper perhaps?).

  32. I personally have never used a board that requires an 'addmem' 
  33. command, but I do remeber a memory card for the A500 that allowed up 
  34. to 8MB of mem in the trap door.  Since the A500's trapdoor wasn't 
  35. originally designed to handle that (thus the cheap hardware, but here 
  36. in the A500, not the add-on card), they had to use a hack to get that 
  37. extra mem.
